Michael Horgan was an energetic, sports-mad 6-year-old Arsenal, Bohemians and Dublin fan when he was suddenly diagnosed with a brain tumour. He battled bravely for 18 months before succumbing to the cancer on October 4th, 2023. Thanks to the generosity of family, friends and wonderful charities, his latter months were coloured by unforgettable sporting moments. They lit up his short life and now serve as an ongoing comfort to his parents Conor & Anne. 

Michael’s experiences are the inspiration for Michael’s Fan Club.  Every time we can gift a little something to a young sports fan, we think of him.

P.S. You’ll see lots of baseball caps on these pages, and that’s for a reason. When Michael lost his beautiful auburn hair as part of his cancer treatment, his caps – all 80-plus of them – became his indelible signature for those who knew him.
